Thur | May 28, 2026 | 6 pm

Step into the spotlight and experience Scottsdale’s surprising role in Hollywood history—right where it happened.

From cult classics like Raising Arizona and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure to television favorites and national broadcasts, Scottsdale has long been a cinematic backdrop for unforgettable stories.

As part of the Still in the Saddle exhibition, this program brings the films to life with connections to the very locations and people featured in the exhibit. Discover how a young Steven Spielberg got his start here, why legendary actors chose Scottsdale as home, and how local sites transformed into movie magic.

Whether you’re a film lover, local history buff, or just curious to see your city in a whole new way, this is an experience you won’t get anywhere else.
